Long story:
Antibodies (other than IgE) that are found in the serum to foods are a marker of an abnormal immune response to the food (the individual is allergic or hyper-sensitive) and/or there has been excessive absorption of food antigens through the intestinal mucusa/wall into the bloodstream and the body is clearing them as a foreign substance since the food did not enter the body through the normal digestive-lacteal-liver route in a processed fashion.
Therefore, if antibodies to food(s) are being detected in the blood, one must look at
how much of the antibody is present and how many different food antibodies were found. The intestinal mucous (lining) is the major route of entry for foreign antigens. The largest collection of lymphatic tissue lines the intestines. Thus, in an individual with a large number of food antibodies probably has increased permeability (a leaky gut) and impaired digestion which has allowed a greater foreign antigen load into the body. Partially digested foods (macro molecules) appear foreign within the body.
In order to correct this problem one must not only avoid the foods stimulating the immune response but also fix the foundational problem of impaired digestion/leaky gut.
Short story:
The more items you are allergic to, the more it is not the offending items. It is a leaky gut because of the damage to the intestinal walls. It takes 21 days to heal the lining of the small intestines but requires a lot of work to during those 21 days.
