With every single dis-ease that exists, there are ONLY 6 root causes: genetics (or inherited), biochemical (toxins), nutritional deficiencies, psychoemotional, infectious (viral, bacterial, parasitic), and structural. From these root causes, the body takes the route of 7 mechanisms: metabolic, immunologic, infectious, neuromuscular, inflammation, psychological, and endocrine. THESE mechanisms can be found through blood, urine, and hair tests. Then the body starts to display symptoms and chronic dis-eases.
My practice is based on finding
the root cause. In the long run, three basic questions must be addressed with my clients: 1) Is the problem caused by something s/he needs to avoid (what is making it worse)? 2) Is the problem caused by something that needs to be eliminated/detoxified (lead, cadmium)? and 3) Is the problem caused by deficiency of something (what must be done to get better)? My goal is for the client to reach balanced body chemistry – nothing more, nothing less. If you are having symptoms related to deficiencies associated with a vegan/vegetarian diet (shivering uncontrollably in 70-degree weather, loss of muscle mass, fistfuls of hair shedding, inability to focus, thinner, paler, clumsier, foggy brain, rampant teeth decay, deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins, low levels of iron and vitamin B12), we are going to have a conversation about what you need to do to get better. Is it eating animal protein? Is it avoiding wheat? Is it not eating processed carbs? Is it essential fatty acid deficiencies? It is tissue calcium starvation?
If all other aspects of your life are being affected because of nutritional deficiency, how are you living a vibrant life?
