Physicians Michael and Mary Eades wrote a book entitled ‘Protein Power‘ and they discuss the fast (and natural) way to get high blood pressure down. They were on the forefront to recognize that high insulin levels from the typical high-carbohydrate American diet were KEY cause of high blood pressure. The high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet they recommend is so effective that it comes with a warning: “WARNING: A high-protein/low-carbohydrate diet is so effective in lowering blood pressure that if you are on blood pressure medications, you must be careful. You may become dizzy and faint within just a few days and you will need to be taken off [blood pressure] medication quickly.” Imagine that…. 🙂
