Sunlight, sunburn and vitamin F:
The ultraviolet rays from the sun convert skin oil to vitamin D. Too much vitamin D is called hypervitaminosis D. Actually, it is the deficiency of vitamin F (polyunsaturated fatty acids). Vitamin D picks up calcium from the gut and puts it into the blood. Vitamin F takes it from the blood and puts it into the tissues.
The sunshine is hazardous to your health because you are deficient in vitamin F, and NOT because you are out in the sun.
